Description: Lance Corporal Ham stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. When he got the driver out of the car, the suspect started to run. Corporal Ham pursued the driver on foot and was able to capture and handcuff the suspect. When back up arrived, Corporal Ham was found slumped over in his patrol car and the suspect was gone. The suspect was recaptured still handcuffed. Corporal Ham died of a heart attack.
