Description: Marshal Houser responded to a call of an intoxicated man brandishing a shotgun and threatening to shoot. As Marshal Houser and Marshal Bob Graham walked up the path to the suspect's house, the man ran out of the front door and fired, shooting Marshal Houser in the chest and stomach. Marshal Houser died a few minutes later. The suspect was arrested.
