Description: Deputy Marshal Hill and two fellow deputies were attempting to locate a still at a local residence in the city of Seldovia located in the U.S. territory of Alaska. The Deputies arrested four suspects at the home and continued to search the residence. While searching a tent at the residence, the owner of the home fired into the tent and killed Deputy Hill.
