Description: Officer Horner and Officer Steve James were in separate boats patrolling along the Tombigbee River. Officer James' boat became disabled and Officer Horner attempted to rescue him. Officer Horner's boat was pulled under by an undercurrent and sucked through the flood gates of the Coffeeville Dam. Officer Horner's body was found several miles downstream of the dam.
