Description: Officer Hill and Chief of Police Ike Veach were patrolling the streets of Marlow, Oklahoma when they noticed three men in a 1930 Ford acting suspiciously. Officer Hill pulled the police car up beside the Ford to address the men. Before the Chief asked the men any questions, the three men started shooting at them. Officer Hill received three wounds from a shotgun and died instantly. Chief Veach was wounded also but survived.
