Description: Police Officer Henwood was shot and killed while on routine patrol. A vehicle pulled up behind Officer Henwood's patrol car and flashed their headlights. Officer Henwood pulled his car to the side of the road in order to provide assistance. The suspect in the vehicle stopped alongside Officer Henwood's patrol car and opened fire, shooting Officer Henwood once in the head. The suspect fled the scene, he was later shot and killed by law enforcement officers. Officer Henwood died at a nearby hospital.
