Description: Patrolman Hensley succumbed to a head injury sustained in an automobile crash while on a disturbance call. Patrolman Hensley was a passenger in the patrol car being driven by his partner when the crash occurred. The car's emergency lights were flashing when a car failed to yield the right of way at an intersection and ran into the police car. The vehicle carrying the two officers crashed into a brick wall. Patrolman Hensley was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the next morning. The second officer survived.
