Description: Deputy Hudgins was killed in a single-car automobile accident while responding to a report of a suspicious persons call at a local grocery store. While responding and attempting to negotiate a curve, Deputy Hudgins' patrol vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Deputy Hudgins was pronounced dead at the scene.
