Description: Patrolman Hensley and Officer Guy stopped a taxi cab driver for a minor traffic violation. The suspect, unaware to the officers, was an escaped convict. While talking to the suspect, the suspect took Officer Guy's weapon and struck him in the head. He then shot Officer Guy in the thigh, and shot Patrolman Hensley three times. Both officers were hospitalized. Patrolman Hensley died the next day from his injuries, Officer Guy was treated for the gun shot wound to his thigh.
