Description: Detective John Harms was struck by a train in his car while on his way to an investigation. The train gates were not lowered by the attendant on duty and the train crashed into Detective Harms' car. Detective Harms was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The attendant was arrested by the county coroner.
