Description: Sergeant Hodgins was summoned by a local citizen regarding a fire in progress. Sergeant Hodgins requested that the citizen to drive him to the location. Sergeant Hodgins was riding on the running board of the vehicle when the vehicle collided with a trolley car. Sergeant Hodgins fell from the running board of the car and was crushed under the wheels of the trolley.
