Description: Deputy Hennessee was shot and killed in a case of mistaken identity. A farmer thought he was being robbed by a gang of thieves and went outside to investigate. Deputy Hennessee spotted the man with a shotgun and ordered him to drop the weapon. The farmer leveled his gun at Deputy Hennessee and both men fired. Deputy Hennessee was struck twice and was pronounced dead at the scene.
