Description: Detective Hauschild and his partner were chasing a stolen vehicle, and once they had overtaken it, Detective Hauschild jumped onto the running board of the auto ordering the driver to stop. The driver refused, and so Detective Hauschild fired two shots, fatally wounding him. The car then veered into the path of an oncoming streetcar, crushing Hauschild between the two vehicles.
