Description: Officer Hardy was attempting to arrest an intoxicated bar patron who was involved in a fight. As Officer Hardy was escorting the suspect out of the bar, the suspect drew a revolver and shot Officer Hardy three times. The suspect was found guilty of first degree murder and received a life sentence.
