Description: Officer Hoffman succumbed to injuries sustained when he was struck by a patrol car while in foot pursuit of a suspected drunk driver. As Officer Hoffman pursued the suspect, he was unfortunately struck by another Montgomery County Patrol Unit in an area with very low lighting. Officer Hoffman succumbed to his injuries just before midnight April 25, 2008. Friendly action.
