Description: Trooper Haynes succumbed to injuries sustained four days earlier when his patrol car was struck head-on by a car operated by a drunk driver. The intoxicated suspect was driving the wrong way on the highway when the collision occurred. Trooper Haynes was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The intoxicated driver was killed instantly in the collision.
