Description: Deputy Harp, accompanied by fellow deputies, were attempting to arrest a man wanted in a shooting incident. As the deputies approached the residence where the suspect had barricaded himself, they were met with a hail of gunfire. Deputy Harp was struck once in the head and died at the scene. After a stand-off that lasted several days, the suspect finally surrendered.
