Description: Officer Hardesty and another officer responded to a collision on East Fort Lowell Road in Tucson, Arizona. The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene. Officer Hardesty pursued the suspect on foot. The suspect returned to his vehicle and removed a handgun. Officer Hardesty was fatally shot by the suspect. The suspect was caught and charged with first degree murder.
