Description: Deputy Habelt and Deputy Tony Ogburn were shot and killed after responding to a domestic disturbance call. When the deputies arrived at the residence, the suspect opened fire with a high-powered rifle, killing them both. Another deputy who responded to the scene was shot and wounded in the arm but survived. The suspect was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death.
