Description: Deputy Sheriff Hamson succumbed to injuries sustained while investigating an accident on August 16, 2004. Deputy Hamson was investigating an evening crash site when he noticed a driver approaching with his headlights off. Deputy Hamson was struck by another vehicle and remained in a coma until his death four years later on October 24, 2008.
