Description: On March 28, 1973, Police Officer Hurley assisted in the pursuit of a suspect in a stolen automobile. During the pursuit, the officerŸ??s car was struck by another automobile. Immediately after the incident, which occurred at approximately 12:00 p.m., Officer Hurley began to experience chest pains. The next day, while on duty, fellow officers observed that Officer Hurley was clutching his chest with his right hand and appeared to be unsteady on his feet. His face was flushed and his eyes dilated. Officer Hurley suffered a heart attack while on his way home from work on March 29th and died at 6:58 p.m.
