Description: Sergeant Harrison was shot and killed while sitting in his patrol car. Sergeant Harrison had finished a DWI checkpoint and was seated in his patrol unit when a suspect pulled next to him and opened fire. After the shooting, Sergeant Harrison attempted to drive himself to the hospital but veered off the road and crashed into a tree. Sergeant Harrison was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
