Description: Sergeant Hanson died from injuries received three years prior in an automobile accident. While on patrol, Sergeant Hanson's department vehicle was struck broadside by another vehicle that had run a red light. Sergeant Hanson sustained severe brain injuries and remained in a semi-conscious state until his death three years later.
