Description: Deputy Hahn was killed in an automobile accident on I-94 while en route to pick up an inmate at the Jackson County Jail. A truck traveling westbound lost control, crossed the median, and struck the van. Deputy Hahn's department van was then struck from behind by another vehicle. Deputy Hahn suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
