Description: Police Officer Hodge was shot fourteen times while in front of his residence. Officer Hodge had completed his eleven o'clock shift and went home. Shortly after midnight, someone called out to Officer Hodge and he stepped outside. Officer Hodge was shot multiple times by several men. A subsequent investigation revealed that Officer Hodge had witnessed the theft of drugs from secured evidence at the department and planned to reveal this information to authorities. Three suspects were convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
