Description: Deputy Sheriff Hopper was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call. Deputy Hopper was shot in the face by the suspect while interviewing witnesses at the scene. A gun battle ensued between the suspect and law enforcement officers and the suspect was killed. Officer Jeremy Blum was wounded but survived. Deputy Hopper was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
