Description: Patrolman Healy was shot and killed after responding to false disturbance call at a local apartment building. Patrolman Healy was well known in his neighborhood and off-duty when the suspect approached him and asked for his help. While responding the suspect produced a pistol and attempted to rob Patrolman Healy. Patrolman Healy struggled with the suspect and was shot twice in the abdomen. He succumbed to his injuries four days later.
