Description: Officer Hickey was the passenger in a patrol car that her training officer was driving when they were injured in a single-car accident. The officers attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding and running a red light. As they approached an intersection, the training officer swerved to avoid another vehicle, lost control of the cruiser and then struck a light pole. Officer Hickey died six days later.
