Description: Deputy Marshal Hall was shot an killed near Santa Fe, New Mexico. Marshal Hall was investigating some suspicious men who had stolen two horses and abducted a 15 year old girl. One of the men fell back and opened fire upon Marshal Hall. Marshal Hall was struck twice and found a short time later by another group of men who took him back to town where he died the following day.
