Description: Deputy Hall and Deputy David Galloway were shot and killed as they attempted to serve an arrest warrant on a suspect wanted for public drunkenness. The suspect, a well known bootlegger in the area had assaulted a woman and her son earlier that day. Deputy Hall and Deputy Galloway entered the residence and were talking to the suspect when they were both shot by another suspect hiding behind a closed door.
