Description: Deputy Sheriff Howell was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call. When Deputy Howell stepped out of his police vehicle, the suspect exited the front door of the residence and fatally shot him in the face and in the neck. Deputy Howell was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
