Description: Deputy Huddleston went to a residence to serve papers and collect payment. The occupant beat Deputy Huddleston to death with a wooden stake and buried the body in a shallow grave. The man fled on Deputy Huddleston's horse but was caught, tried a in a court of law and publicly executed.
