Description: Deputy Hutson was shot as he attempted to arrest a suspect wanted on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. As Deputy Hutson and Deputy Charlie Smith attempted to enter the residence, the suspect opened fire and fatally shot Deputy Hutson. Officer Henry Gordon was also shot but survived. The suspect died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
