Description: Sheriff Ikard and Deputy Munford were investigating a robbery which included twenty-seven cases of stolen cigarettes. After locating the stolen cigarettes, Sheriff Ikard and Deputy Munford ordered the suspects to put their weapons down. The suspects began shooting at the officers. Sheriff Ikard was killed from a fatal shot to his abdomen. Deputy Munford killed two of the suspects and arrested the third suspect.
