Description: Justice of the Peace Inskeep and Jailer Benjamin Miller were killed by a man seeking vengeance. The suspect had just been released from jail after serving a sentence for possessing liquor. The suspect compiled a list of people he was planning to kill in revenge for his incarceration. The suspect went on a rampage, killing one citizen and wounding two others including a 6 year old child. Justice Inskeep was shot by the suspect when he answered the front door of his home. The suspect then went to the county jail and shot Jailer Miller. The suspect was convicted of murder and executed by hanging.
