Description: While off-duty, Sergeant Inzer observed three armed suspects burglarizing a local business. The suspects fled the scene. Sergeant Inzer pursued the suspects, first in his vehicle and then on foot. Moments later, witnesses called the sheriff's office and reported shots fired in the local business area. Sergeant Inzer's body was found by fellow deputies. He had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
