Description: On September 8, 1983, Corporal Illingworth was injured in an automobile crash while en route to back up another officer. Corporal Illingworth was responding to the robbery alarm when a truck pulled out in front of him which caused both vehicles to collide. Corporal Illingworth remained in a coma until his death on February 28, 1991.
