Description: Deputy Sheriff Jackson was shot and killed by a mentally ill suspect after she responded to a disturbance call. When Deputy Jackson failed to respond to dispatch, other deputies reported to the scene where they found Deputy Jackson shot to death. The suspect went on to kill four other people in various locations of the neighborhood before finally turning himself in at the Skagit County Sheriff's substation.
