Description: Sheriff Jones was standing in a general store, located in Toboxy County, Oklahoma, when a blast of buckshot was fired through a window, hitting him fatally in the side. The shooter immediately surrendered to another officer, admitted the shooting and claimed self-defense because he claimed Sheriff Jones intended to kill him on sight.
