Description: Deputy Jenkins was killed in an automobile accident while on patrol. Deputy Jenkins was eastbound on I-10, when his patrol vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment and struck a tree. Deputy Jenkins was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
