Description: Police Officer Jacob was struck and killed while removing debris from a roadway. Officer Jacob responded to a complaint of a barbeque grill in a lane of traffic. After removing the debris from the roadway, Officer Jacob was struck by a vehicle as he walked to the driver’s side of his patrol vehicle. Officer Jacob was transported to a nearby hospital where he died.
