Description: Marshal Jones was killed by fragments of flying metal from an iron pipe. Marshal Jones had responded to a request by a local engineer to keep citizens at a safe distance from a city planned blasting operation. The city was destroying an unused stanchion pipe that was deemed a safety hazard. A large fragment of the iron pipe penetrated Marshal Jones' right side and passed completely through his right lung which damaged his kidneys, liver and abdominal aorta. Marshal Jones died two days later.
