Description: Sheriff Ray Cooper and Deputy Johnson were attempting to take a mentally ill subject into custody. When the suspect threatened to kill anyone who approached his residence, the Sheriff ordered Deputy Johnson to throw a tear gas bomb through the window. When Deputy Johnson approached the window he was shot and killed.
