Description: Ranger James was investigating a report of shots fired southeast of Clear Creek Lake, northwest of Duncan. Less than half an hour later, responding backup officers found Ranger James dead from gun shots to his head and chest. Ranger James? service revolver was missing. The suspect was captured and found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
