Description: Inspector Jennings was killed in an automobile accident while returning from an investigation involving an explosion in Blount County. While en route Inspector Jennings department vehicle was struck broadside by a vehicle who's driver ran a stop sign. Inspector Jennings department vehicle was knocked into oncoming traffic and struck by another vehicle. Inspector Jennings succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
