Description: Sergeant Johnson was ambushed and shot while investigating a suspicious vehicle. Sergeant Johnson stopped to check a vehicle that appeared to be disabled or involved in a crash. As Sergeant Johnson rolled down his window to speak with one of the occupants of the vehicle he was shot and killed while seated in his patrol car. Sergeant Johnson was transported to a nearby hospital where he died. His assailant was apprehended.
