Description: Constable Johanson suffered a fatal heart attack while struggling with a suspect. The constable had stopped the suspect after seeing a hit and run and was attempting to place the intoxicated suspect under arrest. The suspect resisted arrest and hit Constable Johanson with his own blackjack. A nearby officer, who witnessed the events was able to subdue the suspect. Constable Johanson was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
