Description: Officer Jenkins was on patrol when he was struck by a taxicab while crossing the street. Officer Jenkins, who suffered internal injuries and multiple fractures, was pronounced dead at the hospital later that evening. The taxi driver claimed he did not see the officer due to rainy conditions and was not charged.
