Description: Correctional Officer Jackson was ambushed, shot and robbed after retrieving a package at the Oyster Creek express office. Officer Jackson had been sent by the manager of the state prison farm in Angleton to get $300 that had arrived for the facility. Officer Jackson's body was found with a shotgun blast to the face several hours later outside of the prison gate and the money gone. A man who had been inquiring about Officer Jackson several times earlier that day was located, spending money freely. The man was arrested.
