Description: Sheriff Johnson was shot and killed by a suspect deemed mentally ill. Sheriff Johnson was talking to the suspect in his office about the possibility of having him committed to a mental hospital. The suspect produced a weapon and fatally shot Sheriff Johnson several times. Sheriff Johnson's Undersheriff immediately returned fire and killed the suspect.
